General comments
Het toevoegen van aminoglycosiden wordt NIET aanbevolen
Behandelduur 14 dagen bij ongecompliceerde S. aureus bacteraemia.
Bij complicaties en persisterend positieve bloedkweken na 72 uur behandeling: behandelduur 4-6 weken
Bij community acquired S. aureus sepsis denk aan focus onderzoek middels PET-scan en echo cor.
