aciclovir iv 10mg/kg 3dd 7 to 10 days

or

valaciclovir po 1000mg 3dd 7 to 10 days

General comments

  • Behandeling geindiceerd bij: immuungecompromitteerden, ernstige infecties, nervus ophthalmicus, meerdere dermatomen.
  • Nervus ophthalmicus: start bij voorkeur iv.
  •  Bij recidiverende infecties overleg met internist-infectioloog ivm mogelijke profylaxe / vaccinatie
