General comments
Legionella urine sneltest afnemen indien ziekteduur minder dan 5 dagen dan test herhalen.
De behandeling is afhankelijk van de ernst van de pneumonie. Deze wordt gebaseerd op het aantal criteria van de AMBU-65 score, waaraan de patiënt voldoet:
AMBU-65 score (voor elk positief item wordt 1 punt toegekend):
Ademfrequentie > 30 per minuut
Mentale toestand: recente desoriëntatie in tijd, plaats of persoon
Bloeddruk systolisch < 90 mmHg en/of diastolisch < 60 mmHg
Ureum > 7 mmol/l
Leeftijd > 65 jaar
AMBU-65 score 2 punten = matig ernstig
Bij onvoldoende verbetering na ≥ 48 uur behandeling met een beta-lactam antibioticum overleg met A-team.
